I am a multidisciplinary engineer and designer based in Dortmund, Germany. My work sits at the intersection of rigid technical architecture and highly expressive visual systems.

I believe that the web shouldn't just be a frictionless delivery mechanism for content. It should be a tangible, living design artifact. I draw heavy inspiration from Swiss International Style, brutalist print media, and 90s Japanese computing aesthetics — favouring hard lines, dense typographic hierarchies, and strict grid systems over soft gradients and ambiguous white space.

When I'm not writing code or pushing pixels in Figma, I'm analysing old transit tickets, industrial packaging, and analogue hardware interfaces to find structural patterns that can be applied to digital interfaces.

90s Japanese PC-98 aesthetics, early Macintosh HIG documentation, DOS-era terminal interfaces, and the strict information density of VT100 displays. Collecting old hardware manuals and system reference guides.

TRANSIT SYSTEMS

Japanese rail ticketing, city wayfinding grids, timetable typography, and transit map design. The boarding pass is the pinnacle of high-density information architecture in the physical world.
